Starting out on your treatment journey

It’s an exciting time when you first start out on your orthodontic treatment journey. Although it may seem a little daunting, we promise you the months will fly by and it won’t be long until you’re showing off your beautiful new smile.

It all starts with your first visit to your nearest Class 1 clinic, whether that be in West Perth, Canning Vale, Rockingham, Baldivis, West Busselton or Cockburn.

Your first visit

At your first visit, you will meet with one of our treatment coordinators as there are a few things we need to discuss with you. Here’s what will happen:

We’ll ask you what you want to achieve from treatment
We’ll ask you for your dental and medical records, if we don’t already have them
You can ask us any questions you have about orthodontic treatment
We can talk you through the orthodontic process
We’ll discuss your treatment options

One of our specialist orthodontists will then assess your teeth and jaws and, if needed, take x-rays, photographs and digital impressions of your teeth. This helps us to identify what your orthodontic needs are and what type of treatment will get you the result you’ve told us you’re after.

As part of your first visit, we will put together a bespoke treatment plan for you. This will outline the following:

The results of our specialist orthodontist’s assessment
What treatment(s) we recommend for you to correct your orthodontic needs
An outline of your treatment process and how long treatment will take
An exact cost of your treatment – this quote will be specifically designed just for you and has no hidden surprises
Information about our payment plans and finance options to help make the cost of treatment affordable.
